The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department offers civil engineering programmes that establishes strong theoretical and practical foundations in core civil engineering principles and the scientific fundamentals that underpin them. Students are prepared to design, analyze and implement infrastructure solutions with technical competence and professional responsibility, addressing the needs of a rapidly developing built environment.
The engineering geology and water resources engineering equip graduates with the ability to assess geological conditions, interpret land forms and geophysical processes, and evaluate site suitability for development projects. Students also gain expertise in the sustainable planning, design and management of water resources systems, ensuring the protection of both human needs and environmental integrity.
The Masters in Construction Management programme provides advanced knowledge and practical skills to manage the social, technological, financial and environmental challenges of modern construction. Grounded in the project management body of knowledge, it develops professionals capable of handling project constraints and regulatory demands.
