CEED and programmes
The Civil and Environmental Engineering Department (CEED) at CST focuses on developing skilled engineers equipped to design, build, and manage sustainable infrastructure while addressing environmental challenges. It emphasizes practical learning, field exposure, and problem-solving relevant to national development.
Programmes under CEED
1. Civil Engineering programme
Focuses on planning, design, construction, and maintenance of infrastructure such as roads, bridges, buildings, and water systems.
2. Engineering Geology programme
Applies geological principles to engineering projects, including site investigation, slope stability, tunneling, and foundation analysis.
3. Water Resources Engineering programme
Deals with protection of the environment through water treatment, waste management, pollution control and sustainable resource use.
4. Masters in Construction Management
The master programme focuses on developing professionals capable of planning, organizing, and managing construction projects efficiently. It integrates engineering knowledge with management principles to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with quality and safety standards.
